Founded in 1945, Rubberlast Group Limited has offered our wealth of product knowledge and passionate problem solving capabilities to the industrial elastomer market for over 75 years. Since then, Rubberlast has built a wide and varied base of customers that continue to place their trust in us to this very day.

What we do

Purchased by the current owners in 1991, Rubberlast was trading rubber manufacturing parts out of a small unit on the outskirts of Holbeck, West Yorkshire. Distributing mainly parts for the care and automotive industries, we’ve come a long way in the last 30 years. Over time we have invested heavily in strip cutting machines and hydraulic pressing equipment. These investments allow us to create a wider range of products to a much higher standard of finish and supply you with high quality, reliable products time after time.

In 1999 Rubberlast added flexible hose and ducting to our repertoire, opening up a range of new industries to offer our service to. We have built fantastic relationships with a variety of companies in these sectors, companies such as: Northern Rail, Yorkshire Water, BOC, and HSS Hire to name just a handful. The hose and ducting sectors we service include, but are not limited to: air, water, steam, oil, gas, abrasive particulates, foodstuffs, and chemicals.

Rubber and sponge sheet conversion has always been at the core of Rubberlast. Working with local design and engineering workshops, we have the capabilities to create custom tooling for customers no matter how big or small. Leading the way

At Rubberlast, we endeavour to source products that are as responsibly and sustainably manufactured as possible. We understand the importance of our impact on the world we live and work in and we make sure that every scrap of material we use is put to good use. Off cuts from our sheet materials are converted into mulch and are used in things such as flooring for gyms and outdoor playgrounds. The prime benefit being that these products can be recycled again and again, lowering the amount of new materials needed to create such products.
